| "DOPED UP" ANIMATIONS ILLUSTRATE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF STEROIDS, SUPPLEMENTS, AND STIMULANTS |
| Challenge |
| If you are a young adult watching friends bulk up on steroids and faced with "everyone else is doing it" rationalizations, you need a way to learn more about steroids, supplements, and stimulants. The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) recognized the critical need to educate teens on the side effects of drugs, dope's impact on the body, and knowing the difference between safe supplements and dope. |
| Solution |
| USADA's Education department teamed with visionbox to launch an edgy website targeting 15- to 20-year-old young adults in high school and college. To make an impact, visionbox developed an interactive application with integrated animations illustrating the side effects of steroids, stimulants, and hormones. The "Doped Up" medical animations show the effects of specific drugs on male and female bodies. |
